My name is Gail Travis and I have always had a love affair with gemstones and most especially Turquoise! It's such a unique, gorgeous and facinating stone! I love how it feels and I love how it looks! I enjoy unique, out of the ordinary tack, so it was just a matter of time that the two loves should come together. So, I am now proudly in my 7th year of making gorgeous custom tack with turquoise and gemstones. I actually started out with just making a few things for our horses, but it quickly caught on with others and over the last 7 years it has expanded into a almost full time business. I love creating new and exciting designs and am constantly adding new things to this site. So, check back often to see what is new.

This is also the home of the Original Pendant Headstall and it is my modern day concept and creation. I only use the best, hand crafted pendants for my designs. They are crafted by Native American artists and so they are one of a kind headstalls! I shop around for unique and gorgeous quality and often vintage silver and turquoise pendants and then incorporate them into a headstall. I design the headstall around the pendant and each one is unique and gorgeous. They are made to be sturdy as well!

I am located in beautiful Northern Wisconsin with my husband Mick, a painting contractor and my Daughter Andie.

For many years in the late 80's & most of the 90's I was a semi-pro Archer having competed in 3D archery at the State, National & World level. I placed 10th in the World's my first year attending (out of 700) entries and have 5 State titles. I had many sponsors as well. After may years of this I found I was burned out and needed a rest. A couple of life-changing events happened all at one time. I met my husband and we married in 1999. Now, I enjoy the quiet life with my beloved family and the serenity and calm of the country and our horses and animals. Making and designing custom tack is so pleasant and relaxing and the results are so worth it!

From my home and shop I create one of a kind, stunning items of tack. I am the sole proprietor and designer, each item is hand customized per order by me. I care about each and every piece of tack that leaves my hands! I pride myself on having outstanding customer service and you will always receive the best and highest quality from me and personal attention beyond any one else.
